چکیده

Ficus species (Moraceae) is a globally distributed and considered one of the largest most diverse genera woody plants with growing genetic, environmental, economic, nutritional, medicinal importance. This study was conducted to detect genetic evolutionary relationships among eight genus (Ficus microcarpa var nitida, F. retusa, benjamina Vivian, Starlight, cyathistipula, elastica Decora binnendijkii, religiosa), by ITS1 ITS4 primer, DNA analysis performed. The traits ITS phylogenetic analyses indicated that all were separated into two main clusters containing four groups identity ranging from 94-100%. estimated neighbor-joining (NJ) cluster similarity matrices. highest found between Vivian (Acc.no. MW301203), binnendijkii MW301207), nitida MW301202) retusa MW301205), gave lower index  based on morphological features, lowest religiosa MW301209) cyathistipula MW301206).

Study of the Molecular Diversity of Internal Transcribed Spacer Region (ITS1.4) in Some Lettuce Genotypes

Lettuce is belong to the Cichorium family with leaf consumption, Annual cold weather plants and rich in minerals, vitamins and nutrients. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the genetic diversity of 15 varieties and lettuce populations using the ITS area. Sequence quality was evaluated using Chromas 2.1.1 software, aligned by MegAlign 5 software and then similarity matrix and dendrogra...

Phylogenetic analysis of cercospora and mycosphaerella based on the internal transcribed spacer region of ribosomal DNA.

ABSTRACT Most of the 3,000 named species in the genus Cercospora have no known sexual stage, although a Mycosphaerella teleomorph has been identified for a few. Mycosphaerella is an extremely large and important genus of plant pathogens, with more than 1,800 named species and at least 43 associated anamorph genera. The goal of this research was to perform a large-scale phylogenetic analysis to ...

Phylogenetic Analysis of some Iranian Chrysanthemum morifolium Cultivars, using Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) Molecular Markers

Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) is one of the most important ornamental plants which plays a significant role in the development of gardening industry in the world. The knowledge of genetic diversity is one of the prerequisite criteria for Chrysanthemum breeding with important economic goals. Molecular markers have a significant share in elucidation of inter and intra species genetic d...

Phylogenetic analysis of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region in Menyanthaceae using predicted secondary structure.

Sequences of the nuclear internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions ITS1 and ITS2 have been used widely in molecular phylogenetic studies because of their relatively high variability and facility of amplification. For phylogenetic applications, most researchers use sequence alignments that are based on nucleotide similarity. However, confidence in the alignment often deteriorates at taxonomic le...

PCR-based sensitive detection of medicinal fungi Hericium species from ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences.

Based on phylogenetic analysis of rDNA internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences, a pair of specific primers were designed for differentiating the Chinese traditional medicine Hericium species from other mushrooms by PCR. PCR was performed, with total DNAs as a template at an annealing temperature of 52-57 degrees C. Positive amplification was obtained from H. erinaceus with all DNA templates...
